Shabonee and Wood Oaks Recognized for PBIS programs
Congratulations to Shabonee and Wood Oaks for being recognized for their respective PBIS programs.
Shabonee School received a Platinum award from the Midwest PBIS Network and Wood Oaks received a gold.
PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) is implemented in schools to reduce or eliminate poor behavior school-wide through encouragement of positive behaviors. In Wood Oaks, the PBIS program is called ROAR, while at Shabonee, it is called SWIM.
The PBIS recognitions are Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, with Platinum being the highest.
