We help people with Headaches, Migraines, Neck Pain, Lower Back Pain, Sciatica, Colic, ADHD, and Scoliosis.  We work with infants, adolescents, parents, and grandparents to get back into life and stay there!

Accepted Insurance: We work with all insurance and are a provider for most. We offer a free insurance verification with your first visit.*

Compass Health Center provides PHP and IOP for children (8-12), adolescents, (12-18), young adults, and adults. Child and adolescent program specialties include Mood and Anxiety, OCD and Complex Anxiety, School Anxiety and Refusal, and Mental Health and Substance Use.

Young adult and adult program specialties include Mood and Anxiety, OCD and Complex Anxiety, Mental Health and Substance Use, Trauma, and Mental Health, Chronic Pain, and Illness. Compass Health Center also offers seasonal programming including College Preparedness, Creative Arts, High School Readiness, and Social Skills.

Accepted Insurance: Most commercial insurances, including BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, and United Healthcare.*

We provide research-backed psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, adults, couples/families for a variety of emotional and behavioral problems including Depression, Anxiety, OCD, PTSD/Trauma, Low Self Esteem, ADHD, Child Behavioral problems, Managing Chronic Medical problems, Grief, Marital/Family Relationship problems, and more. We provide psychological testing services for diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, Executive Functioning, Learning Disabilities, and differential diagnosis of Emotional and Behavioral problems.

Accepted Insurance: We are on all the major insurance plans, such as BCBS PPO and HMO, Aetna, Cigna/Evernorth, Optum/United Healthcare, Humana, Magellan, Tricare, Carelon, PHCS/Multiplan, and Lifesynch. We also take Medicare.*

We provide Psychiatry services and therapy services, including art therapy.

Individual, family, and couples therapy. We provide a wide range of therapy approaches including play therapy, art therapy, EMDR, Gottman's & NARM couple's therapy, attachment based therapy, SYMBIS premarital therapy, and more. We also provide neuro/psychological testing services at the Oak Park location. 

Accepted Insurance: All of our providers are in network with BCBS PPO/POS plans, Aetna, Cigna, and Triwest. Most of our providers are in network with Optum/United. We will also be in network with Meridian soon.*

At the North Suburban Center for Anxiety, we specialize in using cognitive behavior therapy to treat anxiety, OCD, and related disorders. We recognize that anxiety can be overwhelming, scary, and isolating. However, it is also treatable! As cognitive behavior therapists, we provide research-supported and results-oriented treatment. We believe that how individuals think and behave directly affects how they feel. Therefore, we use a compassionate, collaborative, and direct approach to empower clients with the necessary skills to modify their irrational thoughts, confront their maladaptive fears, and decrease their overall anxiety. By the end of treatment, our goal is that clients have learned the essential tools to master their anxiety or OCD and are living a more fulfilling life.

Obsidian Counseling & Wellness provides compassionate, holistic mental health care for individuals and families across the lifespan, starting at age 6. Our expert therapists specialize in trauma recovery (EMDR), anxiety, depression, parenting support, stress management, and play therapy for children, helping clients uncover the tools within themselves for lasting healing. We offer both in-person and virtual sessions, creating a supportive, inclusive space for growth and connection.

At Plena Mind Center, we are devoted to delivering premier pediatric care, combining evidence-based treatment approaches customized to each patient and family in a warm and welcoming environment. Our structured PHP (intensive day program) and IOP (intensive after-school program) serve as a reliable extension of outpatient therapy, with a focus on evidence-based care and long-term outcomes.

Accepted Insurance: BCBS PPO, Cigna, Aetna, Magellan, and Tricare.*

In our welcoming clinic or in your home, we help our clients improve communication, manage emotions, and increase self-confidence with our creative, strengths-based approaches to music therapy.

Payment: We do not take insurance.*

Northbrook:  Outpatient therapy serving all ages starting at 5 years old.
Vernon Hills: PHP/IOP for 6th to 12th graders, treating depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and school avoidance. Also, outpatient therapy, medication management, dietary services, and neuropsych testing starting at 5 years old through the lifespan.

Accepted Insurance: BCBS for outpatient and all major commercial payers for PHP/IOP.*

SociAbility is a premier private practice with over fifteen years' experience serving children, teens and adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, anxiety, and mood disorders. Conveniently located in Chicago's north shore, our passionate, collaborative staff of therapists help clients reach their goals on a daily basis. SociAbility's services include diagnostic evaluations, individual, couples and family counseling, social skills training and group therapy and parent and sibling support.

Youth Services is the place to turn to for mental health services for children and adolescents in Chicago’s northern suburbs. With a unique, highly engaging blend of activities-based programming, Youth Services offers group and individual services focused on early intervention, prevention, education, support, sexual and gender identity support, health education, and crisis response.
