What: CATCH Up at the Park: Run, Jump, Play!
When: Sunday, May 4, 2025 from 4:30pm to 5:30pm (The rain date is Sunday, May 18, 2025.)
Where: Village Green Park (Shermer Road & Meadow Road, Northbrook, IL) 
Who: Kids (ages 5-11) and their favorite grown-ups (This is NOT a drop off event!)
 
Boost mood, build resilience, and have fun --- all through the power of play! Unplug with an hour of screen-free, unstructured play! No registration is needed. Just show up, and play!
Compass Health Center: Fostering Healthy Screen Habits on April 30, 2025
Why Attend? 
  • Understand Screen Dependence: Learn why screens can be so captivating and what makes them challenging to manage.

Glenbrook North Poms / Orchesis Auditions

Eighth-grade dancers who will be joining Glenbrook North for the 2025-2026 school year are invited to try out for the GBN Poms and Orchesis dance teams. Those interested should complete an audition registration form by April 28.

Auditions will be held May 5-9 at GBN. Those who register will be emailed on May 30 with an assigned timeslot. This year, dancers will only be allowed to commit to one of the dance teams. Email Poms Coach Collins or the Orchesis Coaches for more information. 

Oakton College: STEAM Youth Summer Camp

More than just fun and games, our programs provide engaging and unique learning opportunities on a college campus. Students ages 8 to 14 can give their science, technology, engineering, art, and math skills a workout with a range of fun-filled camps and classes. Don’t miss out on these diverse, academic youth programs!

Classes are held in person at the Skokie and Des Plaines campuses. Each course costs $185.

District 225 Athletic Summer Camps

Glenbrook High School District 225 is excited to bring back its youth summer camps this year! Online registration is now open. Athletic Camps are offered to incoming first through eighth graders and will run throughout the summer. They are held at Glenbrook North and Glenbrook South unless otherwise noted. Please visit the summer camp website for summer athletic camp offerings and instructions on how to register.

As a reminder:

  • If you have questions about a specific camp, please contact the coach listed in the offerings document.
  • All camps have minimum and maximum participant counts.  All participants will be notified if a camp needs to be canceled due to low enrollment.
  • Registration can only be completed online through the camp registration website.
  • Registration fees can be paid:
    • Online using a credit card or e-check 
    • By paper check - payable to District 225 (please indicate the participant’s name and ID number). Mail or drop off at the Glenbrook High School District Administration Office (3801 W Lake Ave., Glenview, 60026)
  • All fees must be paid within five business days of initial registration. Any registration with outstanding fees after the due date will be canceled.
  • The school district does NOT pro-rate any camp fees.
