Dear Parents,

Below are some important notes for the final days of school, including eighth-grade graduation, adjusted bell schedules, and bus ridership information. 

Monday, May 25 – No School

There will not be school on Monday, May 25, due to the observance of Memorial Day.

Monday, June 1 – Last Day of School for Eighth Grade

The last day of school for eighth graders will be Monday, June 1. Eighth-grade students will be dismissed at 2:00 p.m. that day. Bus drop-off will occur between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., depending on ridership. The graduation ceremony will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, at Glenbrook North. Regular bus service for 6th and 7th graders will be available from Monday, June 1, to the last day of school on June 4. 

Wednesday, June 3 - Last Day of School for Little Bulldogs Preschool

Thursday, June 4 – Adjusted Bell Schedule (Last Day of School for Grades K-7)

District 27’s last day of school will be Thursday, June 4. The adjusted bell schedule for that day is as follows:

• Hickory Point students will attend from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.*
• Shabonee students will attend from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.*
• Wood Oaks students will attend from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

*For those enrolled in Adventure Campus, the last day of PM care will be Wednesday, June 3. The last day of AM care will be Thursday, June 4. 

Adjusted Bus Schedule for Thursday, June 4

If your child rides the bus, please note the following adjustments for the last day of school:

• AM Pick-Up - Please have your child at their bus stop at their regular pick-up time. The school day begins at 8:30 a.m.
• PM Dismissal - All students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. Bus ridership will vary on June 4. Bus drop-off times will be between 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Please make arrangements to ensure an adult or family member is present at home to accept your child.

• AM Pick-Up - Please have your child at their bus stop 20 minutes later than their regular pick-up time. The school day begins at 9:00 a.m.
• PM Dismissal - All students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. Bus ridership will vary on June 4. Bus drop-off times will be between 12:15 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. Please make arrangements to ensure an adult or family member is present at home to accept your child.  

• AM Pick-Up - Please have your child at their bus stop 15 minutes earlier than their regular pick-up time. The school day begins at 8:00 a.m.
• PM Dismissal - All students in grades 6 and 7 will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m. on June 4. Bus ridership will vary on June 4. Bus drop-off times will be between 11:15 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
• Activity Buses - The last day for the after-school activity bus will be Wednesday, June 3.
