Superintendent Weekly Message: July 10, 2020
Parent Message - July 10, 2020
Dear District 27 Parents,
I hope you are well and safe and that your children are enjoying the summer!
We held our last Advisory Committee meeting this week, discussing the many considerations relative to the opening of the 2020-2021 school year. We are so excited to welcome our students to school in August. We expect to share the reopening plan with you by next Friday, July 17, 2020. We will provide an opportunity for you to submit questions pertaining to the logistics of the plan.
We will also conduct a second Student Attendance Survey. We will ask you to confirm whether your child will be attending school in the fall given all of the safety measures that we will have in place. This information will be important for us to finalize plans for those who will attend school and those who may prefer a full remote learning option.
We will continually communicate with you as the summer moves along and as we move through the school year.
Thank you, again, for your continued patience and understanding as we finalize our plan. Have a good weekend.
