Parent Message: Neighborhood Safety and Crossing Guards
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Please be advised that the Northbrook Police Department has informed us that during cold and flu season, there may be occasions when they are short-handed for neighborhood crossing guards. Specifically, there might not be a crossing guard at the intersection of Cherry and Donegal Lanes tomorrow morning, Wednesday, October 25th.
We are writing in partnership to ask you to please remind your children to be safe when traveling to and from school. This includes having situational awareness and safely crossing the street.
We are grateful to the Village of Northbrook, which regularly trains and deploys crossing guards to help keep our students safe.
