End-of-Year Information (Adjusted Schedule)

 

Thursday, May 30 – Last Day of School for Eighth Grade

The last day of school for eighth graders will be Thursday, May 30. Eighth-grade students will be dismissed at 2:00 p.m. that day. Bus drop-off will occur between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., depending on ridership. The graduation ceremony will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, at Glenbrook North. 

Thursday, June 6 – Adjusted Bell Schedule (Last Day of School for Grades K-7)

District 27’s last day of school will be Thursday, June 6. The adjusted bell schedule for that day is as follows:

  • Hickory Point students will attend from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • Shabonee students will attend from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Wood Oaks students will attend from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Adjusted Bus Schedule for Thursday, June 6

If your child rides the bus, please note the following:

  • Hickory Point 
     
    • AM Pick-Up - Please have your child at their bus stop at their regular pick-up time. The school day begins at 8:30 a.m.

    • PM Dismissal - All students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. Bus ridership will vary on June 6. Bus drop-off times will be between 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Please make arrangements to ensure an adult or family member is present at home to accept your child.

  • Shabonee
     
    • AM Pick-Up - Please have your child at their bus stop 20 minutes later than their regular pick-up time. The school day begins at 9:00 a.m. 
       
    • PM Dismissal - All students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. Bus ridership will vary on June 6. Bus drop-off times will be between 12:15 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. Please make arrangements to ensure an adult or family member is present at home to accept your child.  
       
  • Wood Oaks
     
    • AM Pick-Up - Please have your child at their bus stop 15 minutes earlier than their regular pick-up time. The school day begins at 8:00 a.m.
       
    • PM Dismissal - All students in grades 6 and 7 will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m. on June 6. Bus ridership will vary on June 6. Bus drop-off times will be between 11:15 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
