(PARCC) Assessments are group of state-mandated tests that assess students’ knowledge of the Common Core State Standards in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. Students in grade 3-8 take these assessments annually, with 2016 being the second year of the PARCC Assessments. Prior to PARCC, students took the ISAT (Illinois Standards Achievement Test).
In the spring of 2016, students in grades 3-5 will take four 60 minute math tests and three ELA tests that range from 75 to 90 minutes depending on the grade level. At grades 6-8, students will take three 80 minute math tests and three ELA tests that range from 90 to 110 minutes.
2015-16 Testing Window
Shabonee will administer the tests April 25, 27, 28, and May 2 & 3. Wood Oaks students will take the assessments on May 4, 5, 9, 10 and 11.
