The
Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) measures the individual
student’s achievement and progress, and shows how the students
and their schools are performing in comparison to the Illinois Learning
Standards. These tests are given at different points in a student’s
career and are not grade specific. This information helps identify
strengths and weaknesses in both students and schools, and helps
educators as well as parents focus on meeting the Standards.
