All schools
are carpeted and air-conditioned. Hickory Point School received major
renovations during the summer of 2001. Each school has a resource center with
books, periodicals, audio-visual materials, and other learning materials, and
each resource center has a full-time director. Each school has one or more
computer labs. The school district has an agreement with the park
district whereby the
park district maintains the school grounds in exchange for grounds use by the
park district during evenings and weekends. The District Office is located
at 1250 Sanders Road.
